The 19th-century English city is then revived in all its glory: in the Bergkwartier, more than 950 characters from the books of Charles Dickens come to life. The festival attracts thousands of visitors from home and abroad. Admission to the Dickens Festival is €6, payable at the ticket office at the start of the queue. Children up to 7 years old are free.
